Online Competition

But we are getting ahead of ourselves.  Before anyone goes to Festival Arcadia, we must hold our online gaming round to nail down the 5 finalists.  Titan Stike.com is improving every day.  In the interest of running a smooth competition, the official competition has been delayed from its original start date in April and will start in August.  We are apologetic about this delay, but currently the 50 MVG competitors moving into round two are using titanstrike.com to chat, blog, schedule matches and play other gamers.  Titanstrike will be open to all competitors further down the line, and all 500 MVG 2007 competitors will be offered a premium titanstrike membership for a year.  

MVG 2.0

MVG.com is also currently undergoing an overhaul. By the beginning of next week, we will be rolling out MVG 2.0 which we know will improve the user experience.  MVG 2.0 will boast many new features, including but not limited to:  

• Completely database driven site engines
• Add/remove a friend feature
• Calendar for important dates
• More efficient and speedier photo uploading process
• Blog and new submission features
• Invite your friends directly from your address books
• Digg, facebook and other social networking links embedded into the website
• Private messaging between users
• A shout box so users can communicate freely
