How I would change the perception of girl gamers::
I want to prove and show that girls don’t only play minesweeper or snake on their cells, that some females actually play console and pc games as well, OMG YES wtf huh!?! Lawl.. females actually can dominate at a game just as well as any guy, OBVIOUSLY cuz video games aren’t made for jus guys! Well ive been working at an EBGames for the past year, and its amazing how many times i get asked "u play games?". I want to show the guys that girls are just as geeky and good at games then them! I’m better then most guys ive ever played with…I’m never scared to be challenged in a game. I’m down for any game, on any console or pc. I've recruited all my IRL girlfriends into some type of game like counter-strike or brain age on the DS. Every new gal i meet i try 2 give them a taste what it feels like to be a gamer, to feel apart of something thats fun, challenging and different. Many girls I went to school with who aren’t into gaming have always thought it was just a guy thing, and I want to change that view as much as I can! I know plenty of girls who game, and every single one if beautiful in their own way and pwn just like the “guys” do! Female gamers shouldn’t have 2 pull a crowd everytime they pick up a controller… we all should be considered a gamer just like the guys, and not have to be worried about the immaturity of the kinds of talk going on like “girls cant play games.” I would want to tell all the girl gamers out there not to feel intimidated by the guys who believe girls in gaming do not exist. I want to prove that girl gamers shouldn’t be looked upon as an image or even weak, but as a true gamer!
